In a unexpected partnership that breaks conventional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Revealed

According to the official statement, "A mysterious confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of banned practices and terrifying changes echo through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden group.

The adventure focuses on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses

The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Additional Features

Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an unique katana in addition to multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

This update also brings the game's third no-cost story content, titled "The Enigma."
