I'll overwhelm 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
